This evaluation tool is simple but powerful. It has been validated and even published in the peer-reviewed medical journal Neurology** as an effective tool with high predictive value. It is sensitive and specific to detecting early cognitive changes.
It can be completed by patients by themselves, or with the assistance of a family member, loved one, or caregiver.
Please note that screening tools such as this one, or any other, are INSUFFICIENT to medically diagnose Alzheimer's Dementia or any other dementia disorder.
