Locate an investigative clinical trial that is enrolling in your area

You may qualify to gain access to new medications that are being investigated to treat Alzheimer's Dementia that have not yet been made available to the market.

STEPS TO IDENTIFY INVESTIGATIVE CLINICAL TRIALS CURRENTLY ENROLLING NEAR YOU:

STEP ONE

Click HERE.  Visit the Clinical Trial Locator platform on the National Library of Medicine's Website.  It is run by the Department of Health and Human Services, the same branch of the federal government that runs the (FDA) Food and Drug Administration.

STEP TWO

In the first box, titled, "Condition/disease," type "Alzheimer's" into the text box.

STEP THREE

You will now be taken to the Results page.  From here, look for a box titled, "Location," on the left-hand side of the screen.  Enter your location (as the nearest large city) and then click the, "Apply Filters," button just beneath it.

STEP FOUR

Click on the investigative clinical trial of interest and you will be taken to a sub-page that further describes who qualifies, information about the sponsoring company, and also contact information, usually a telephone number and e-mail address for a coordinator or point person.

STEP FIVE

To the best of your ability, ensure that you meet the qualifications prior to initiating contact with the sponsor.  Once you do contact them, if you qualify, they will provide all further information about how to get started.

As of November 2025, there were five investigative clinical trials with locations enrolling in the Nashville area.  Three of them were terminated (which could be for a variety of reasons, including that the available spots were filled), resulting in two studies with locations currently accepting patients.  Note that availability updates frequently.
